A Twitterer sent me this to convince me Burgdahl was a traitor. Sounds like a kid with a good conscience to me though. No idea where he got this from, but somehow this instantly means he was a traitor, a Taliban sympathizer, and deserves to die. Meanwhile even a rightwing source asked some pretty decent questions: "why was Bergdahl promoted in absentia to sergeant in 2011? Why would he be in line for another promotion, to staff sergeant, this month? And why would the White House let itself get within a thousand miles of the Bergdahl family with suspicions like these ready to bubble over?" Fascinating. But of course, no racism here, even if the first black president is also the first president threatened with impeachment for rescuing a POW, amongst so many other hateful firsts from the Right. Go figure.
